Soldering 101 @ Gilruth Scuba Room
Jeff AB4ME and Kelvin K5KGH hosted 6 interns learning how to solder.
Using our 2 LED blinker kit, they had a great time building up a working electronic project while learning about electronic components, PCB assembly, and through hole hand soldering.

March 22
5 Interns participated in a 2m fox hunt of 3 hidden foxes within the Gilruth premises. N1NZ designed doppler receivers coupled to Baofeng UV-R5 were used to teach direction finding during this activity. These interns shattered the hunt record by finding all three in about 40 minutes or less in some cases. Jerry N5FWB and Dave W5OC provided hosting for this hunt.
